Seeing how May is National Bike Month, and May First Friday is just a few days away, we’re kicking off the spring & summer season with another Artists & Cyclists event! We’re partnering with GObike Buffalo, who will be on hand to check over your bike and make small adjustments or minor repairs, there will be some bike & pedestrian-themed outdoor art projects and rumor has it some BMX bicyclists will be showing off their stuff.

This is the first of a series of special First Fridays where we will be closing a block of Allen St. to traffic and/or hosting participatory activities, celebrating art in the City of Good Neighbors. In June we’ll host an Outdoor Craft Market, in July we’ll have an Ice Cream Social, August will have hands-on activities and September will feature a very special event (we know what it is, we just want to keep you in suspense).

Check this website as well as our Facebook page and Twitter for details in the coming weeks and months.

"Man's quest for health and happiness has always led him to the water's edge. The sun, sand and sea has been the doctor's prescription for centuries. Capturing my seaside memories on canvas has been a passion of mine. The combination of the crowds and ocean always brings me back to my summer childhood spent visiting Coney Island in Brooklyn NY. Coney Island, a magical place of good times , sun kissed skin and screams coming from the amusement parks continues to inspire me."
