Allentown’s gallery walk, known as “First Fridays”, has grown into one of the most popular monthly events in the City of Buffalo. Join us on the first Friday of each month from 6 to 9pm, where Allentown art galleries, performance artists, musicians, restaurants, retailers, and more come together to create a rich cultural attraction.

 

This month we’re celebrating the holidays and will have some extras in store, like…

-Tree Lighting at Allen and Park Street, 7 pm
-Horse drawn carriage rides

-Storefront holiday movie projection at 166 Allen

    Presenting “Kinetic Body”–a mixed media installation by Jaime Schmidt. Come out this Friday and witness Grindhaus-turned-exhibit after Jaime transforms the space into a “living system” of art. Featuring photographs, line drawings, paintings, and sculptural pieces–connected and suspended like the events that shape our lives–this installation must be experienced, not just seen.

    We’ll also be serving up our usual suspects–pour-over coffee, full leaf teas, & veggie cuisine–along with seasonal drink specials and holiday cheer!
